Digital Photographic Print FAQs
Digital photographic prints are created from scans made from the original image on film. Because of this, we can offer them as a less-expensive alternative to film-prints. Digital prints can also easily be altered to add edges, frames, titles, change a color image to black and white, and many other custom features.
Digital photographic prints are printed on true photographic papers by Kodak with professional printers... these are NOT inkjet prints made at home. Kodak photographic papers exhibit the quality and permanence that you have come to expect from all of your photographs. In smaller sizes, digital prints come very close to matching the quality of a print made directly from the original image made from film.
Digital prints do not come mounted or matted. Turn-around time on orders for digital prints is much faster than traditional prints.
